Place of the soul.

From the 12th century in the centre of a historic and lively district of Brescia, a famous deconsecrated church has today rediscovered its natural function as a place of the soul, transforming itself into a multi-purpose space that hosts exhibitions, meetings, educational activities, artistic residencies, musical and theatrical performances.  The architectural forms of this space, characterised by very large surfaces and great heights, frequented by a sometimes numerous public, pose a problem of climatic well-being, which is also associated here with the need not to disturb the pure aesthetic quality of the place with extraneous elements. It was precisely these constraints that suggested the use of a dry, low-thickness, low-inertia radiant system: MORE FTA, covered with reclaimed wood flooring that emphasises and enhances the dialectical contrast between tradition and contemporaneity that characterises the centre's activities.
