The stable of a historic villa, already the subject of a partial redevelopment, is the topic of a new intervention to create a second residential unit. The project envisages the use of advanced energy-efficient technologies, but with two main constraints: to connect to the existing heating system; and not to disrupt the building's valuable architectural features. The MORE solution has created a comfortable environment at any time of year, minimising noise and air movement and ensuring absolute well-being and maximum ease of management and control through the MORE SET control system. The solution makes use of differentiated systems for the different floors of the house: radiant heating and cooling system with low thickness and low inertia floor for the first floor: MORE FTA; assisted by the innovative MORE BELT system on the ground floor of the house, combined with a compact air quality and humidity management system from the MORE Airfresh, which is also particularly important for preserving the extraordinary interior finishes. For bathrooms, MORE PAD electric radiant systems were installed to provide adequate warmth in all seasons of the year, regardless of whether the central heating system is running or not.
