Custom Comfort and Technology in an 18th-Century Farmhouse

In a portion of an 18th-century farmhouse on the outskirts of Bologna, developed over three levels, a renovation project was carried out aimed at ensuring customized comfort and technology. The property desired a silent and discreet system, despite the structural difficulties due to the presence of load-bearing walls. To solve the problem of system passage, the old chimneys were used, while the FTA radiant floor system was chosen for its low thickness, low inertia, and high efficiency. The innovative system, in addition to its technical characteristics, is also the only system certified and guaranteed by Listone Giordano, the company chosen for the wooden flooring that covers the entire house.

The well-being and healthiness of the environments are guaranteed by the MORE VMC controlled mechanical ventilation system, which constantly renews the air, in combination with MORE DEU, which regulates the humidity level, keeping it optimal and preventing rising damp. The FTA system, usable in both heating and cooling modes, integrates harmoniously into the structure and is equipped with remote control for flexible management.

In the bathroom areas, the MORE PAD system ensures thermal comfort in specific areas such as shower boxes, towel warmers, and integration into the warm environment.
